So we celebrate those strong women who inspire us, who have given us women the rights we have today. I think in this century women have just gotten on with it and are showing the world that anything is possible when we put our minds to it.  We go out to work, stay at home and work, look after the children, run a household and also support our partners.  We tend to think of ourselves towards the end of the pile of responsibilities that we have and yet sometimes we don't manage to get to the end of the pile.

It doesn't matter which one you do we are all an inspiration to society.  We get on with things and just deal with situations when we have too. We are survivors and we want only the best for our children or if your planning to have children.

I spent the day with the most important people in my life, my children.  All three of them inspire me. My boys are being raised to not only be gentleman but to respect themselves as well as women.  We as mothers have to raise our boys understanding equality and how they can be supportive partners.

Heres to strong women. May we know them, May we be them, May we raise them.

xx

O

Ok so there's stepping out of your comfort zone and there's stepping out of your comfort zone..  Today was the launch day of MIBA Networking Event in Sutton Coldfield, we celebrated in style of course with a glass of processco.  I was honoured to welcome the ladies and we had a fab couple of hours. A big thank you to Emma Cooper the owner of Max's Coffee Shop on the Clarence Road, such a fab family run coffee shop who welcomes small business to show off their products and host events there too.  What I love about the MIBA networking events is that you can bring your children with you, its a friendly place for women to come along network, get to know each other and support each others businesses.  We give out goody bags which we source from mamas in business to support them in anyway possible and its FREE to be added into the bag.  So the next event is on the 28th February 11.30 - 1.30pm just in time to head back for the school run.

I wouldn't of thought over two and a half years ago I would be hosting my own event.  I have come so far with my confidence, was today nerve wrecking? Yes of course it was, I had so much going through my mind before the event (well whilst having my nails done) that no-one was going to turn up or they would given me bad feedback.  All the ladies were just so friendly and they all enjoyed the chilled out feeling, it was like just meeting up with friends for coffee.

If you live in the West Midlands and are close to Sutton Coldfield, come down to the next one..Click the link to purchase your ticket and I can't wait to meet you.

xx

Over the past week all three of my children have been unwell. Thankfully back on the mend and back to School tomorrow. Yesss finally routine. If I rewind back three to four years ago I would not have been able to of stayed home with them due to working full time.

Taking this fab opportunity up almost three years ago (wow time flies when your having fun) has saved me this past week. What with you ask? Well I didn't have to call in sick, take annual leave or not get paid. I didn't have to ask my boss for the day off. Fab right?

What have I learnt over the last few years, that life is so short and that we deserve to enjoy every moment of it. I Choose FREEDOM, freedom to be there for my babies when they need me most, freedom for myself to learn to love myself in the sense of health and fitness (still figuring this one out), freedom to get the family and go see the world and freedom to be ME. What use are we to anyone if we shut down from the inside out?

I made a promise to myself that this year one goal is that I get at least on morning to myself and treat ME with a facial, retail therapy, afternoon tea with a friend something I haven't done for me in a while. What are you planning on changing this year?

Have a fab week and don't forget to be YOU. xx
