So where did the six weeks go? I am sure we have skipped a few days, or does it feel that days are rolled into one nowadays?

My three went back to school yesterday and yep I sure did the typical first day back to school photo. Come on I'm not the only one right? We are all proud parents and if we don't take that photo what would we use to embarrass them at their 21st birthday hey?

I know it can be such an emotional time for mama this first day. I get it you have been with your child day in day out for the first 4 years of his/her life, you have spent all that time bonding with them and now they are going to create new bonds with their teachers and friendships with other children.  Hey mama don't worry that feeling when your baby runs out to you at the end of their school day its just as powerful.

So a few tips to get back into routine..

1. Organisation

Grab a planner, go to your local Poundland, this gorgeous rose gold planner. Hey ladies we need something pretty to look at right?

2. Routine

For the past 6 weeks ladies we haven't been keeping up with our daily routine, come on its impossible especially with the kids around you. I have been waking up around 7am every morning going down and making myself a cup of my morning detox tea. I have been making sure I have been having something to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  We did a big shop from Tesco and all foods are fresh, healthy and organic. In the evening I have been taking the Night Time Tea. I can honestly say I have never felt better since drinking these herbal teas, I have cut back the coffee from 3-5 cups to 1-2 a day. Not bad hey?

3. Pamper Time

Now I must admit this one is a struggle to keep on top of. Do you put yourself first? I mean I totally know where your coming from it is very difficult especially when you always put the little people first.

Let me know in the comments ladies, what you do for a little time for yourself, I would love to hear what you all get up to in your spare time.

Until next time, don't forget to be YOU. xx

My last post was on the 8th August, two days before we flew out on our family holiday.  Wow what an amazing ten days we had.  We really enjoyed spending the much needed (over due) family time. The kids were fantastic on the plane going and coming back too.

Penny made friends with the guy sitting next to her.  She had him in stitches the whole flight out.  The boys were sat next to me and were just on their iPads most the flight.  We had a 40 minute delay so it took us to past midnight by the time we arrived into Cyprus.

Honestly the minute we land in Cyprus we feel like we are home. That hot air you breathe in as soon as you walk out those airport doors, best feeling ever. So got back to the apartment around 1.30am, I don't know if you guys do the same thing but I have to unpack the suitcases no matter what time it is... I made up all the beds as we were staying at the hubby's uncles apartment. It is really cute and has a beautiful swimming pool out the back with a gorgeous waterfall.

So two days in the kids started to argue and were seriously getting on each others nerves.  I thought to myself "wow this is going to be a fab holiday".  But what was happening was the kids just adapting to the climate change and the time difference too.  They soon settled.

When you go to the beach, do you feel that freedom as soon as you just take a look and listen to the waves?  I sat for 10 days just running away with my thoughts whilst lying on the sun bed watching the kids play and the world going by.

Before flying out I purchased a product I kept seeing an ad on instagram about. It was The Fox Tan.What can I say? It does exactly what it says it does.  I have come back to the UK the darkest. I have ever been.  My inbox was going crazy whilst I was out there, my followers were messaging me asking if it really works? YESSSSS!! it really works.

Three days after coming home, I feel so crappy, it has not stopped raining and its so cold. Yep I had to put the central heating on its that cold.. No exaggeration either. I have been seeing a lot of photos from friends and family who are still out there and I just want to go back.  But the reality of it is, I got to knock myself out of this and get back on track with work, kids, school uniform (don't get me started) and just the routine of everyday life.  How do you get yourself back on track after an amazing holiday away? I would love for you to leave some comments below.

Tune in next week... BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Whilst the country comes to a stand still, we just sit and watch through our windows all this white fluffy stuff coming down from the sky ( Penny's words) and trap us in our homes.  So all the schools closed, the boys were so happy but not as much as me.  Yes I have a phobia of driving in this weather and on Thursday afternoon whilst on the school run I did have a panic attack and cried.  Deep down I knew I just had to get home and my kids to safety.

It was one of the best memories we had as a family, we were trapped at home and the kids just wanted to be outside. Penny's first steps were so beautiful to watch.
