So every year he surprises me with the biggest bunch of roses.  He is a romantic when he wants to be lol..

Today has been a bit of a crazy day, yep even managed to have an argument with him too. But we didn't let that spoil the evening we have had planned for over a month.  So it was the normal after school activities swimming for Kiriakos, honestly I don't think he is ever going to get over his fear of jumping into the pool. Any ideas or tips are welcome mamas..

The kids stayed at my parents for the evening whilst we went out to dinner at my favourite restaurant Gaucho in Colmore Row, Birmingham, Highly recommend it.  It was a full house tonight (wow love is in the air) I tend to just watch the other couples (not in a weird way, I hope) and how they react towards one another, you can actually make up story's in your head.  Come on, i'm not the only one that does this, right? lol So tonight didn't go for steak, went for the lamb shank instead, was absolutely beautiful but I wish I had the steak now. yep!!  So we caught the taxi back to Sutton to quickly pick the kids up before heading back home, yes they were awake on a school night at 11.10pm, oh it was a one off and VALENTINES, plus they only have two more days of school left until they break up for half term.  Today was a really nice day, I just sat back and just appreciated the ones I truly adore.  xx

Today was a day full of mixed emotions, nerves and excitement.  So it was a mad rush getting up to Waterstones in Nottingham, especially in the Friday evening rush hour traffic.  Before travelling up there we had to wait for Stavros to return back to school from the pantomime. Yep they were a few minutes late as stuck in traffic.  We drove up there they all fell asleep in the car and woke as we arrived five minutes before it was due to start, which was shocking especially when we were sat in stand still traffic due to an accident at one point.

As we walked to the top floor of Waterstones we were welcomed by the lovely Estelle and Leona (sisters and founders of MIBA)..

OMG!! I cannot believe I am at the Best Selling Mumpreneur On Fire book launch, not any book launch but one that I have co authored with 19 other women, their stories are so inspiring and I am so honoured to be in this with them. I've never been to a book launch before, but I could get used to it lol.

So we were there for a couple of hours, had the amazing Richard McCann as the guest speaker, wow what a guy? The author of the lost boy, I remember reading his story years ago and there I was chatting to him, I can't wait for the movie to come out. So the evening went on with us mingling with the guests and yesss signing copies of the book, eating canapés and drinking champagne.  Wow it was such an experience and I got to cherish this memory with the four most important people in my life. They had so much fun, definitely socialites my children are.

What Mums In Business Association (MIBA) stands for and represents is just what this night was about, us mamas building an empire for our families and they get to come along the journey with us. Ladies don't forget to stand strong, believe in yourself and go chase those dreams and don't forget to be YOU.

It’s Monday 25th December 2017, 7.45 am we are woken up by three very excited children to find out if Santa has been. Oh yes, he has, You can not beat the look on their faces of shock that they have what they wanted in their hands. This morning we have spent time together having fun, bacon baps and a caramel latte. I would say it been a pretty cool Christmas morning.

As we get ready to go to my sisters for Christmas, yes we need to get ready for the mayhem. But isn't that what it's all about? Screaming kids and lots of food, don't forget the chocolates. Oh and plenty of alcohol too.

This time of the year is defiantly a time to spend with family and loved ones, enjoy each others company and celebrate the day Jesus Christ was born. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2018. I am so grateful for the support from you all over the past year. I can not wait to share with you all what's happening in 2018, it's going to be crazy.

Enjoy your Holiday period. Merry Christmas Everyone.

xx
